I live in California, but being a Louisiana native far away from home, I felt compelled to throw my four year old son a Mardi Gras themed birthday party this year. It was a challenge to find more than the most generic decorations at Party City, and while I was able to order a Mardi Gras cake from our local grocery store, they didn't provide a cake topper. So, Amazon to the rescue! I stumbled upon these cake toppers in my search, and the brightly colored and festive king's crown arrived just in time for the party.Two complaints:1. The picture is misleading. Since two cake toppers are pictured, I assumed I would receive both of them. Only after my package arrived did I go back and read the fine print, which stated that only one item was included per order, and the style would be chosen by the company. I was lucky that I received the one I wanted.2. Shipping took a lot longer than I expected. I usually receive items from Amazon in a few days' time, regardless of what shipping speed I choose. It took almost two weeks for me to receive this item.All in all, though, I would purchase one of these cake toppers again. It looked fantastic on my son's cake, and it held up well enough that I'm planning to reuse it for my next Mardi Gras event. A great purchase for less than $5, including shipping.
